Please read this policy carefully.
If you have any outstanding privacy or data usage issues that we have not resolved satisfactorily, please contact us directly at support@travelconnect.kz or find more information in the section "7. How the user changes or updates information".
TravelConnect cares about your privacy. This privacy notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your personal information.
1. What information are we collecting?
1.1. Personal Information
We collect personal data when you provide it directly and voluntarily, such as when you register to receive our newsletter or chat, create an account, request more information on the "Contact Us" page, answer a survey, or upload a questionnaire, and provide personal information such as your email address, name, phone number, or other details. In exceptional cases, personal data may include passport information in accordance with the restrictions for inclusion.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy coverage of third parties, is not directed to our property or business activities, including any external websites, services, applications, or online resources that this website may link to or mention (collectively, the "Third-Party Services"), and to which you may access through the Services. For example, the Services use the Facebook API service as a Third-Party Service, and you agree to comply with the Facebook User Agreement, Usage Policy, and Platform Policy when collecting Facebook resources and services through the Services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policy of any TPS. We recommend that you carefully review the privacy policy of any TPS you contact.
TravelConnect does not consider information that has been hidden to be personal data, so the majority of parties do not have the ability to identify individuals. We collect and use your personal data to provide services, conduct activities, and improve our service, provide customer service, conduct research and analysis to achieve the goals of our products, services, and technologies, and to display content based on your interests and preferences.
You can always choose not to provide your data, but in this case, some parts of the Service may not be available to you. When you create an account, you are agreeing to the use of your personal data to access the Services. This agreement gives us the legal authority to process your data in accordance with the exceptions. You retain the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you do not use your personal data in accordance with this Policy, please refrain from using our Services.
1.2. Confidential personal data
In the paragraph version, we ask you not to send or disclose to us any confidential personal data (such as your insurance number, race or ethnicity-related information, political views, religious or other beliefs, health information, biometric or genetic characteristics), the fact of infection, or membership in a trade union organization) in the Services, using them, or otherwise.
If you confirm or disclose any confidential personal data, or submit content to the Services, you agree to the processing and use of such confidential data in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with how we obtain and receive such confidential personal data, you should not use such content. Please note that even if we distribute such information, we will not store it.
1.3. Non-personal data
We collect and record non-personal data, which is data that does not allow any individual to be identified separately or in conjunction with other information available to other parties. This information may change to include information such as the website that depends on your IP address, type, language, hardware type, location, time, and duration of access. We also collect navigation data, which includes the content or pages of the Services that you view, the links that you click on, and other actions that you take related to the Service. We use the data to analyze user behavior with the result of the Service.
1.4. Cookies, pixel tags, and local storage
We may collect information using cookies, which are small data files stored by a website on your computer's hard drive or mobile device. We may use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your computer or mobile device until you delete them) to make your experience with the Services more personal and interactive.
We use two broad categories of cookies: (1) essential cookies, which we store on your computer or mobile device and use only to recognize your computer or mobile device when you revisit any site or application that is part of the Services; and (2) third-party cookies, which are transmitted by service providers on sites or in applications and may be used by those service providers to recognize your computer or mobile device when you visit those sites.
2. The cookies we use
2.1. Types of Cookies
The services use the following types of cookies for the purposes listed below:
Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are necessary to provide you with the Services and to use certain features. For example, they allow you to log in to secure parts of websites or applications and help to load the content of the pages you need quickly. Without these cookies, we would not be able to provide the services you request, and we only use these cookies to provide those services.
Functional Cookies: These cookies allow the Services to remember your choices when you use the website or app, such as remembering your language preferences, your login information, and changes you make to other parts of your account or preferences. The purpose of these cookies is to provide you with a better experience when using the Services and to eliminate the need for you to re-enter your preferences every time you use the Services.
Operational Cookies: These cookies are used to collect information about traffic on the Services and how users use the Services. The collected information does not identify a particular user. The information is aggregated and anonymous. It includes the number of users, the sites they clicked from, the pages visited, the time of visit, data about the previous visit, and other similar information. We use this information to improve the performance of our Services, collect broad demographic information, and track user activity in our Services.
For this purpose, we use the Google Analytics service. The Google Analytics service uses its own cookies. They are only used to improve the performance of the services. You can find more information about cookies in the Google Analytics service here: https://developers.google.com/analytics/resources/concepts/gaConceptsCookies You can learn more about how Google protects your data here: www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html. If you do not want Google Analytics to collect your data when you use the Services, you can download and install the browser plugin available at this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Targeted Cookies / Advertising Cookies: These cookies are used to display ads that are more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the display of ads and help measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They are typically placed by advertising networks with the permission of the website owner. They remember your visits to the website and share this information with other organizations, such as advertising clients. Targeted or advertising cookies are often associated with website functionality provided by another organization.
2.2. Disabling Cookies
Google AdWords Converter: How to use the provider's personal data (https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/1722022), link to opt-out (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).
On the website www.youronlinechoices.com, you can read more about cookies and individual providers. There, you can also opt out of online advertising based on your data using one or more tools.
2.3. Facebook Custom Audiences
In the context of data-based online advertising, we also use Facebook's communication tools, namely user audiences and site user audiences. In other words, this is a one-way and non-personal control number (hash value) that is generated from your usage data and can be shared with Facebook for analysis and marketing purposes. Facebook cookies are used for site user audiences.
2.4. Pixel tags
We may use pixel tags (also known as web beacons and blank GIF images) in the Services to track user activity on our websites and in our applications. Unlike cookies, which are stored by a website on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device, pixel tags are embedded in websites and are invisible. Pixel tags evaluate the success of our marketing campaigns and generate statistics about the use of the Services to enable us to manage our content more effectively. The information we collect through pixel tags is not related to our users' personal data.
2.5. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers may be configured to send "Do Not Track" signals those online services that you visit. At the moment, we don't take these signals into account.
3. What do we do with the information we collect?

6. International use
The service is owned by TravelConnect and may be available in Europe and abroad. For data protection purposes, TravelConnect is the controller and, unless otherwise specified, the data processor. The collected information may be stored, processed, transmitted, and used in jurisdictional systems whose privacy laws may differ and be less protective than those of your national jurisdiction.
TravelConnect also collaborates with third-party service providers to manage logistics and provide an efficient 24/7 support service. To provide these services, certain data must be disclosed and shared with these third parties.
